MANTHAN
Reimagining Traditional Ghee Making for Modern Homes
Ghee making is a deeply rooted practice in many Indian households, yet the process remains labor-intensive and time-consuming. Traditional preparation involves manually churning curd for extended periods to separate butter, followed by continuous heating and supervision to clarify it into ghee. The process often requires multiple utensils, constant attention, and considerable physical effort.
Manthan reimagines this ritual through a compact countertop appliance that integrates butter extraction and ghee preparation into a single system. By combining controlled low-RPM churning with gradual heating, it simplifies the process while preserving the essence of homemade ghee. The result is a more convenient, intuitive, and accessible experience that bridges traditional food practices with contemporary lifestyles.
